  Clay County Courthouse

The Clay County Courthouse was erected in 1906 on the square in Ashland. It is one of the finest examples of Italian Renaissance architecture around. The cost to build it was $37,986.00 in 1906. The clock was added in 1907 by Seth Thomas. In August, they will celebrate it's 100th Anniversary on August 12, 2006 with a block party.
